Let’s be real: Mushroom Cake has a name only true psychonauts could appreciate. An actual cake of mushrooms? Ew. But this hybrid cross of GMO and Jungle Cake? Strangely delicious. Mushroom Cake has an earthy, umami-meets-cakey scent. Our head of sales described it as “like a birthday cake of magic mushrooms you stored in a sock drawer.” We don’t let him write copy anymore, since maybe that’s a bit TOO descriptive. The flavor is almost the polar opposite – pastry-like with smooth, slightly sweet vapor.
